Neil Croll describes himself as a renaissance man: he is an avid gardener, a distance cyclist, an active athlete, a model and diorama builder, a podcast and early music enthusiast, a dedicated reader of classical literature, a Canadian football and hockey fan, a cross-country skier, and the baker of the world’s best banana bread.
Neil collects comic books, stamps, puns, Pez dispensers and is in the running for Canada’s most heavily tattooed philatelist.
Neil dabbled in philately as a young man but became a dedicated collector in recent years. He is a member of the Saint Helena, Ascension, and Tristan da Cunha Philatelic society. He’s also a former member of the Royal Philatelic Society of Canada, and loves how posh that sounds.
Neil Croll lives in Calgary, Alberta, Canada with his wife Marie and far too many books. Neil doesn’t usually go about referring to himself in the third person but keeps threatening to start.
Neil has recently become obsessed with The Decadent Movement and has even purchased a smoking jacket. He never smokes anything, but considers it essential in case he begins burning with a hard, gem-like flame.
An open bisexual, Neil will happily drop the f-bomb (not that one, the other one. Okay, both of them.). He’ll verbally snout-punch bigots, homophobes, anti-vaxxers, flat-earthers, conspiracy theorists, and other nutjobs.
He digs fat chicks. Come at him, bro.
