Review:
My first Analog magazine for 2024. This was the best one I have read yet, with lots and lots of great content in both fiction and science fact, and in a couple of instances a blend of both.
We meet an asteroid algae farmer harvesting oxygen for sale on the open market in A Vintage Atmosphere. Then we investigate the difficulties of performing Brahms on an extra-solar planet in Music of a Different Sphere.
In Hull Run by David Goodman we follow the risky adventures of some bored teenagers on a Venusian cloud harvesting vessel. Spoiler: teenagers are the same in the future as they always have been!
Lots of AI features in lots of stories, and also some good articles on the realities of AI as we look towards the future of this incredible technology.
So to sum up, another excellent issue and I’m already reading the next one.
